WALES - CAMPING TRIP!

Jodie and Anna -

Where were the boys?

Yes at the Camping and Outdoor show - who would of thought!

It was a long weekend this weekend so we decided to take the opportunity to head away to Wales. Dan hired a car from his work and we piled off into the unknown.

We travelled around a bit before reaching a wee gem of a place called Betws-y-coed and found a spot to pitch our tents in a farmers paddock. We loved the place so much we ended up staying for a couple of nights.

The Weather was not so great but we made the most of it - and luckly the new tent we brought lived up to the conditions!

not sure why we are always last to get our tent up though?

COPENHAGEN -
DENMARK

We started our trip to Copenhagen leaving our flat in London at 4am on Saturday morning. Arrived at Copenhagen airport and caught the train to central city - it was beautiful weather so we decided to explore. We went on a boat through the canals which was amazing, got sunburnt which was a bonus!!!!! Checked into our hotel at 4pm it has just been renovated and it was all nice and new. We ended up having a wee nana nap sleeping till 7pm - whoops a few hours wasted there but we totally needed it. Our hotel room had a slightly see through bathroom window which wasn't so cool when you have a bar outside your window and guys are banging on it cos they can see you on the toilet! - not flash.... lucky they were talking Danish cos it probably would of been more embrassing as I had no idea what they were saying.

The next couple of days were spent exploring and doing all the touristy things. We went to the Carlsburg Brewery for a look around and a couple of beers - Saw the crown jules and hang out in the backyard of the Prince and Princess of Denmarks Palace. Had a gun banged on the ground and a yell from a guard as we were sitting in obviously not the right area!

We have decided to start a wee collection of touristy things - we are collecting fridge magnets - just missing a couple from Toronto and New York - so if your heading that way think of us!
